Palm Springs, California - March 26 - 30, 2016

We headed to Palm Springs for a few days of warm weather, hiking, biking and golf.

We visited Old Town La Quinta - they have shops and restaurants here and it's just a cool place to walk around.

We went to the morning street fair. There are quite a few vendors and food. Didn't buy anything.

We did some hiking at the Cahuilla Nature Preserve. This is a pretty cool place to hike with the most popular hike being the oasis hike - a 1 mile hike that's pretty easy. We continued on and did the moon walk hike as well making it 4 miles round trip.

We visited a few campgrounds/resorts for possible future winter visits with our fifth wheel and loved the Emerald RV Resort.

We took the Aerial Tram up to San Jacinto State Park and did some hiking up top.

We stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Palm Springs

And of course we did some golfing

We drove from Warmmanbool to Grampians National Park (about 2 1/2 hours). We stayed at Lakeside Tourist Park in a camping cabin. We grilled Aussie brats on the deck and watched the kangaroos jump around.

Great Ocean Road, January 4, 2016

Today we started out at Mait's Rest, a rainforest walk and then drove to a wildlife sanctuary where we saw kangaroos, emus, deer, and miniature pony's. We also finished driving the Great Ocean Road.
