Baker Park Reserve (Oct 2 -4, 2015)

We went to Baker Park Reserve for the last camping trip of the season. They were very full and we were lucky to get a site.

We used to love to come to this campground when our girls were little because of the great playground and beach areas. Plus the campground is mowed like your backyard. Now when it's just us we find the sites are a bit closer than we'd like, but we still biked and walked the 6.2 mile trail and the weather was great.

Baker Park (Labor Day Weekend) September 2-5, 2011

We love Baker Park Reserve.  It's a county park located just outside of Maple Plain, MN.  The sites are large and grassy, it's well patrolled so you feel very safe, they have over 7 miles of paved bike trails and the beach and playground are just down the hill.  We tried a new loop this time (H22) and really liked this site.

These are the main bathrooms - they are super clean, big and very nice.

Here's our site - lots of space

Here you can see part of the paved bike trails - they go all around the campground (1 mile total) and then there is a 6.2 mile trail in the park reserve down the hill from the campground.

Baker Park has 2 beaches.  They are both very large and sandy.  Great swimming.
